We’ve been so excited to share a tour of this stunning new construction home for our client spotlight this month! If you follow us at all on social media, you’ve probably seen this house a time or two. This beautiful home is situated on a huge lot that overlooks a wooded pond. The views from their three seasons room are absolutely breathtaking!

Our clients had a vision for their home that was elegant, bright, and inviting, yet kid-friendly. Matching products to our client’s vision is always the fun part for us because we really get to see their personality come to life.

The client had done their research and knew exactly what they wanted when they came in to make their flooring selections. We love the warm grey, white-washed engineered hardwood flooring they chose because it brings a rich and cozy feel to this spacious home. The added texture in their flooring also brings together other elements like furniture and paint colors without being “matchy-matchy”. The key to creating a cohesive space is coordinating your elements, not matching.

Another area we worked on with this client was their backsplash. To keep their large kitchen bright and airy, they selected a 3×6 marble subway tile and paired that with a small hexagon mosaic over the range to make that area more of a statement piece, along with their mantel hood. This backsplash goes perfect with the white cabinetry and also ties in textures and colors in the flooring by pulling more of those gray areas in the wood floors up to eye level.

In the master bath, the clients created an oasis with a 12×24 marble-look porcelain tile and paired it with a marble basket-weave mosaic rug inset by their vanity. The advantage to putting in a marble-look tile versus authentic marble is that porcelain tile does not have to be sealed. You also get more consistency in color and texture because porcelain is a man-made product, not a natural stone. You get all the beauty without all the maintenance!

One thing we really loved about working with these clients is that they were so thoughtful when planning out the spaces in their home. Having two washers is just one way these clients made their home more functional for their busy family! Their laundry room features the same marble-look porcelain tile as the master bath but in a matte finish. On the opposite side of the washers and dryer is a countertop with baskets underneath that gives the homeowners ample space for folding and organizing clothes.

The basement exercise room features a 36”x26” interlocking rubber gym floor which is ¾” thick and can withstand weights being dropped on it but also providing some comfortable cushioning for high impact workouts. PS – that pink treadmill is one of the cutest things we’ve ever seen!
